TskVlo 1.12.0 focuses on intake and everyday board polish: getting work into the right place faster, keeping tags readable across views, and making search behavior more dependable.
IMAP-Based Board Email Intake
Boards can now receive new items from incoming email when the deployment has inbound email and IMAP settings configured. Managers enable the feature per board in Board Settings → Email, copy the generated board address, and choose the default group for email-created items.
Incoming message subjects become item titles, and plain-text message bodies become descriptions. A subject like Support // Cannot log in routes the message into a matching Support group and uses the rest as the title. Without a valid group prefix, TskVlo uses the board’s configured default group, then the first group as a fallback.
This is one-way board intake from an IMAP mailbox. It is not provider-specific email sync, two-way thread synchronization, or arbitrary email sending from a board.
Consistent Tag Colors and Easier Reuse
Tag chips now use a shared color palette across editing, display, suggestions, and shared board views. The same tag label keeps the same generated color, so labels are easier to recognize as they move between field editors, board cards, tables, and shared views.
Tag editing is also faster. While you type, TskVlo suggests tags already used in the same tag field on the same board, excluding tags already on the item and prioritizing frequently used labels.
More Reliable Workspace Search
Workspace search continues to match item titles, item IDs, descriptions, and text custom-field values across boards. Search matching for text field values has been hardened so stored JSON field values are queried reliably.
Local Comment Drafts
Unsaved item comment drafts are restored when you return to the same item in the same browser. Drafts include the text you were writing and, when the referenced comment still exists, reply or edit context.
